Fast X co-star Alan Ritchson recently revealed that Keanu Reeves he was originally supposed to play his character Agent Aimes in the latest installment of Fast & Furious franchise. But, thanks to a “little fluke and good timing,” the role ended up going to Ritchson. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor said:
“I was working on a film with Hilary Swank in freezing cold Winnipeg, and got a call informing me that things had changed in plans with Keanu Reeves, who I think was originally intended to play my part. Tough act to follow. “
THE Fast & Furious franchise producers have been trying to get Reeves involved in the franchise for years! Original franchise writer and producer Chris Morgan he said a few years ago, “I sat down with him and we’re talking about it. I wanted him to be in the Fast universe for a long time. We’re just trying to find… the hardest thing is always competing time and schedules and then designing the right thing together. My fervent desire is to definitely bring him into this franchise.”
Well they almost got it! But in the end, I’m sure Reeves would be better off not appearing Fast X. That character she was going to play wasn’t very interesting anyway.
