During Disney’s recent upfront presentation, the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige showed up to show a trailer of Loki Season 2. According to those present, the trailer did not include Jonathan MajorKang, and the actor was not mentioned at all during the presentation.
The post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania teased Kang’s return Loki Season 2 with a variant of the character called Victor Timely. Majors is confirmed to appear in the series and play a major role in the upcoming season, but with the actor currently embroiled in a criminal trial after an alleged domestic assault earlier this year, Marvel and Disney are playing it safe not to. including it in any of your marketing activities.
Feige didn’t even mention Majors’ name as one of the actors included on the call sheet. A few weeks ago it was reported: “There have been no conversations in the Marvel camp to take Majors out of the MCU.” But maybe they have since. Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes regarding this.
What we do know is that things are falling apart for Majors, as his Entertainment 360 talent manager has left him “due to issues relating to the actor’s personal behavior.” Majors was also retired from public relations firm The Lede Company last month.
Marvel has been talking about Majors ever since he was cast, and Feige previously talked about how Mjors’ Kang was the highest rated Marvel villain from test audiences. It’s so crazy to see how things have changed and how we’ve gone from all the praise in the world to this one.

Majors was charged with assault in the third degree, three counts of attempted assault in the third degree, one count of aggravated assault in the second degree, and one count of assault in the second degree.
Majors’ attorney said earlier in a statement, “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is likely the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are rapidly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped shortly.”
The lawyer also released a series of text messages to the press, in which the woman took the blame for the brawl. The text messages said, “Please let me know you are ok when you get this message. They assured me that you will not be charged. They said they had to arrest you as per protocol when they saw my injuries and knew we had a fight. I’m so angry they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. He will make sure nothing happens to it. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone. I just got out of the hospital. Call me when you’re out. I love you.”
The actor made his first court appearance earlier this month and is expected to return to court on June 13.
