‘Aladdin’ protagonist canceled for this criticism of Halle Bailey’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ – Special (Disney)
The Little Mermaid is about to make her big entrance to the big screen, and as part of the promotion of the film, Halle Bailey attended various events. She also had the opportunity to visit Mexico with Javier Bardem, where they interacted with their fans. However, the film is still the subject of controversy, and this time actor Mena Massoud has joined the attackswho played the lead in Aladdin.
Disney is no stranger to creating live-action versions of its animated classics. We’ve seen examples like Mulan, The Lion King, and Alice in Wonderland, just to name a few. Although not all fans were satisfied with the results, these productions were successful at the box office.
aladdin (Disney Plus), for example, surpassed $1.054 billion worldwide, raising expectations for a sequel. However, that didn’t happen, which left Mena Massoud, who shares the screen with Naomi Scott and Will Smith, looking pretty frustrated.
The Egyptian actor did not hesitate to express his disappointment and posted a tweet which read:
Our film was unique in that audiences saw it multiple times. This is the only way to reach a billion dollars at the box office at its premiere. I bet (“The Little Mermaid”) won’t cross that mark, but it will definitely have a sequel.”

I feel like I’m going to be ignored and underestimated for a long time because I’m a young actor,” he confessed.
