RonHoward is preparing the shooting of his next film project, a survival thriller titled Origin of speciesand the director went out and got himself an all-star cast of actors for the film. Ana De Armas (There is no time to die), Judah Law (Sherlock Holmes), Alicia Vikander (tomb Raider) AND Daniel Bruhl (All quiet on the west front) are all attached.
The film is based on two different accounts of the same true story, and the film is described as “a darkly comic tale of murder and survival, set around a group of eclectic characters who abandon civilization for the Galapagos. They are all looking for the answer to that ever pressing question that plagues us all: what is the meaning of life.
Ah yes, the age-old question of the meaning of life. My answer is that life is what you make of it, so make the most of it and in the end it’s the size of your heart that matters. But hey, if Hoaward wants to build a survival thriller around that question… I’ll show up to watch it!
I’m a fan of Howard’s movies. He is a great director who knows how to tell a solid story. Howard is coming off thriller about Thai Amazon cave rescue Thirteen lives, which was really good! The film starred Vigo Mortensen, Colin FarrellAND Joel Edgerton.
He will begin shooting this film in late 2023 in Queensland, Australia. The script comes from Noah Rose (Tetris).
