Two more actors in the running for Superman in SUPERMAN: LEGACY revealed

It was revealed last weekend that there are three actors in the running for Clark Kent/Superman James Gunnthe upcoming movie Superman: Legacy. The first choice in the list is David Corenswet (Pearl, Hollywood AND The politician). The other two actors were not included in the initial report.

But, according to Deadline, the other two actors are in the running Jacob Elordi AND Andrew Richardson. Elordi has been in movies like Netflix The Kissing Booth franchise and HBO Euphoria. Richardson has appeared in projects such as Daughter of the bride AND Murderer among us.

I like that Gunn is looking to cast an unknown actor for this role, but out of the three actors listed, I hope Corenswet gets it, as it seems like he would be the most suitable person for the role.

It was also already reported that Rachel Brosnahanof Amazon acclaimed The wonderful Mrs. Maisel, is in the running for the role of Lois Lane. I really like that casting, but there are other actresses in the running Samara texture (Ready or Not), Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton), AND Emma Mackey (Sex education).

Then, there is Nicholas Hoult (Renfeld). who is up for the role of classic DC villain Lex Luthor. It is explained that “Hoult’s name has been floating around Legacy for several weeks now with some theories that he was ready for Superman.”

The film will introduce a new version of Superman and tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, driven by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.

Superman: Legacy will launch the film portion of DC Studios’ Gods and Monsters: Part 1, and will be followed by The brave and the daring, Supergirl, Swamp thingand more.

Pre-production on the film began last month, with costumes, set design, and more now in production.
