Asuka is a skilled pilot of Evangelion Unit-02 and is known for her fiery personality and competitive spirit. Asuka is of mixed German and Japanese ancestry and has a troubled past which is slowly revealed over the course of the series.
Asuka initially seems confident and arrogant, but it becomes clear that she is deeply insecure and struggles with feelings of loneliness and abandonment. She has a complex relationship with the series’ protagonist, Shinji Ikari, and she often clashes with him due to their vastly different personalities.
Throughout the series, Asuka grapples with her own identity and the trauma of her past, while also fighting to protect humanity from the mysterious angels who threaten to destroy it. Her character is known for her iconic red jumpsuit and signature hairstyle, as well as her combat prowess and emotional complexity.
These costumes are beautifully made and the attention to detail that has gone into bringing this character to life in costume form is fantastic.
