A full trailer and poster have been released for the writer and director Pedro Almodovarit’s a sexy gay western, Strange way to live. The film is the protagonist Peter Pascal AND Ethan Hawke in the leading roles, and are joined by Manu Rios, Jason Fernández, Jose Condessa, Pedro Casablanco, Daniel RivedAND Erenice Lohan.

Here is the synopsis:
A man crosses the desert that separates him from Bitter Creek on horseback. He comes to see Sheriff Jake. 25 years earlier, both the sheriff and Silva, the rancher who meets him, worked together as hit men. Silva visits him under the guise of reuniting with his boyhood friend, and they indeed celebrate their meeting, but the next morning Sheriff Jake tells him that the reason for his trip is not to retrace their old memory lane friendship…
The trailer certainly has an interesting style. It feels very true to the director, with an old school western flare, he’s stumbled upon a story that could only be told today. Check out the trailer and posters below. Strange way to live will premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival this summer, with a Spanish release in May and a US release date not yet set. We’ll let you know when and where the movie lands as soon as it’s revealed.
