The series is described as a reimagining of that of AA Milne Winnie the Poohand in the story, “Christopher Robin is a disillusioned New Yorker coping with his quarter-life crisis with the help of the strange talking animals who live beyond a drug-induced portal outside his abandoned apartment complex, The Hundred Acres.”
This kind of story really makes sense for a character like Christopher Robin! This could be a very entertaining series. What do you think about this Winnie the Pooh series concept? Do you think it will hit or miss with fans of these classic stories and characters?
The project is based on a script written by Charlie Kesslering (Most likely, activated), who will also executive produce. Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2 sausage party) is also on board to direct the pilot episode and executive produce.
