Neon has released a creepy trailer for an upcoming horror thriller titled Lives inside. The film comes from the director for the first time Bishal Duttaand it looks like the movie will tell a big, terrifying horror story
In Lives inside, “Sam is desperate to fit into school, rejecting his Indian culture and family to be like everyone else. When a mythological demon spirit clings to her former best friend, he must come to grips with her heritage in order to defeat her.
Doesn’t that look like a good horror movie!? The director was inspired to make this film based on his childhood experience of being born in India before emigrating to be raised in America. The story is heavily inspired by both Indian demonic legend and a very personal family story of Dutta’s grandfather. The original screenplay was written by Dutta based on a story by Dutta e Ashish Mehta.
The film is the protagonist Megan Suri ( Missing), Neeru Bajwa (Jatt and Juliet 1 and 2), Mohana Krishnan, Vik Sahay (Captain Marvel, Spindle) AND Betty Gabriel (Go out).
Lives inside will be released in select theaters this fall 2023.
