The first trailer for a fascinating psychological thriller titled has been released Hypnoticwhich comes from director Roberto Rodríguez and stars Ben Affleck. This movie looks really good and seems to be telling a story that will keep the audience in suspense.

The story follows police detective Daniel Rourke (Affleck) as he searches for his missing daughter Minnie (Hala Finley). In her crazy adventure, she discovers that she is associated with a series of robberies in progress led by a mysterious man (William Fichtner) which has hypnotic powers. Fichtner plays a great villain!
Here is the synopsis that was shared:
Determined to find his missing daughter, Austin Detective Danny Rourke instead finds himself spiraling down a rabbit hole as he investigates a series of reality-bending bank robberies where he will eventually question his most basic assumptions about everything and everyone in his world. Helped by Diana Cruz (Alice Braga), a disturbingly gifted psychic, Rourke simultaneously pursues and is pursued by a lethal specter – the one man he believes holds the key to finding the missing girl – only to discover more than he ever bargained for.
As you’ll see, things spiral out of control pretty quickly for Affleck’s character and he’s left confused just like the rest of us! I mean, who is this guy with hypnotic powers who can force his victims to see and hear things that aren’t real!?
Hypnotic will debut in theaters on May 12th and this trailer made me want to see it!
