A few behind-the-scenes photos and a video have surfaced from the upcoming Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again which seem to point to an origin story for the villainous Wilson Fisk, played by the returning actor Vincent D’Onofrio. The set photos provide viewers their first look at a potential flashback sequence involving a young Wilson Fisk dealing with some neighborhood bullies. The Marvel villain’s tumultuous childhood was also addressed in the Netflix original series, which highlighted Fisk’s relationship with his parents.

The new series will be an 18-episode revival of the original Netflix series, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of prominent stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as they reprise their respective roles of Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Both characters made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with the Kingpin guest-starring in the Disney+ series Hawk eye and Matt Murdock appearing briefly in Spider-Man: There’s no way back home. Cox also recently starred in two episodes of She-Hulk: Advocate.
