In just a few weeks, this is the second time the Bas-Rhin branch has been targeted by anti-abortion tags.
“IVG = Violence against women”. During the night between 21 and 22 March, this inscription against abortion was affixed in front of the Planning Familial de Strasbourg. An attack on the right to abortion which is not new for this branch of the Bas-Rhin, a place already branded two weeks earlier.
In a press release posted on its Twitter account, the National Family Planning Branch reacted: “This message is directed against women and interested individuals who come to Planning to have an abortion, and against the association and its activists.·And·s accompanying them to make use of this fundamental human right »explains the association.
🔴 Family planning by @strasbourg was attacked again!

The movement recalls that this type of attack, which it says is far-right, is a crime and plans to press charges.
Following this new attack, Family Planning has received a lot of support. Starting with the NUPES deputy from Bas-Rhin Sandra Regol, who denounced a “threatened right to abortion” on Twitter, or even the feminist association Les effronté·es which underlines: “The right to abortion is a fundamental right, it must be protected, we cannot back down from the small groups who want to make it disappear “.
Full support for Family Planning in Strasbourg, attacked by the far right and in many other cities.
