Five years after Modern Family wrapped its 11th season on ABC, the actress explained how she thought her character would enter a new phase of motherhood as Gloria and her husband Jay (Ed O’Neill) watched Manny (Rico Rodriguez) grow up: “Jay and Gloria were getting ready for Manny to go to college. It’s a very, very fun season with Jay and Gloria and little Joe.” I’m sure it will happen.”
The Modern Family cast members remain close friends in real life: “We’re still like a family. We have a big chat with all the kids and the cast discussing everything we do. And we always look out for each other and support each other.”
