John Wick: Chapter 4 will have to entertain the fans for a while because it looks like we’ll have to wait a while John Wick: Chapter 5. Yes, I have no doubt we will get another John Wick movie, the question is will it Chad Stahelski direct it?

During a recent interview with /Film, when asked about the next film, he said, “Somewhere, maybe someone will. I always say, ‘This is my last one, it will never happen again.’ And I’ll say it now: this is my last.”
He doesn’t mean it, though. The director previously said that he and Keanu Reeves Have John Wick movie ideas for days and that he could make these movies for the rest of his career:
“I like making these films because there are no limits. We create our own mythology and have a studio that doesn’t hinder us and supports us in extravagant decisions. If people go to see the movie, and it makes money, and they come back to us, Keanu and I have ideas for days. I could live here for the rest of my career.”
So when he says this is the last one, he’s lying. But she needs some time before she comes back to do another sequel. You need time to practice and get better at directing. He explained:
“Every time I go back to a ‘Wick,’ there was two or three years in between. That’s a long time for a human being. Do you know how many art or music or museums or places I went in three years? Huge I mean, think about what you do in a year. What would you do in three? Don’t you think that all of that would affect you? I just don’t think I’d be very good at jumping into something right away. I need some time to improve . I must train.”
John Wick: Chapter 5 it was originally supposed to shoot back-to-back with Chapter 4, but the pandemic threw it all out of whack. Of course, Lionsgate still wants that fifth film, and when you see the new film, you’ll see how the next film is set up. The director continued:
“I’ve been trying to get better as a storyteller in this one, but I’d be the same guy coming back in the next one. as a director?” I don’t have the same choices. I can’t just direct, direct, direct. I wouldn’t have time to branch out. long before trying to find [another story]. Because otherwise, if you’re not going to get better, if you’re not going to do something different, if you’re not going to try and branch out and be better artistically, it’s kind of boring to just do it for a paycheck.”
You know, he makes some great points here and should take the time to improve his skills. That’s what he’s supposed to do, and when he’s ready to go back to Wick it up some more, he’ll be able to make another awesome action movie! There’s a reason these movies get better and better.
John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released in theaters on March 24, 2023.
