In DC comics, Black Adam and Shazam! they have a great relationshipbut this does not mean that they are brothers or even relatives, but that their whole story dates back to when Teth-Adam and Billy Batson met a powerful wizard who gave them superhuman powers and a spectacular superhero costume.
Like the DC Studios films, both Black Adam and Shazam! started their story as ordinary people, on the one hand there is the little orphan named Billy Batson while on the other hand there is the ancient Egyptian slave named Teth-Adam who plays Dwayne Johnson in this character’s solo film.
These two characters from the comics are not related to the family, however both have the power granted by the wizard Shazam, but the difference is that Black Adam was not cast, unlike the character he plays Zechariah LeviHence the difference that turns one into a hero and the other into a villain.

Why are Black Adam and Shazam enemies?
In the comics of CCBlack Adam’s life takes place several years in the past, but when he returns to Earth in the present, he discovers that the wizard Shazam has chosen a new champion to save humanity and in an attempt to destroy the planet Billy Batson He decides to face him thanks to the similarity of their powers.
In the same way that Batman has the Joker and Superman has Lex Luthor, the archenemy of Shazam! it’s Black Adam, and it’s expected to be seen at some point in DC Studios’ future Zachary Levi and Dwayne Johnson work together on a superhero story, even if it seems like a long shot at the moment.
After the premiere of ‘Black Adam’, the time has come for Zachary Levi to return to the big screen with DC Studios, with the film ‘Shazam! 2: Fury of the Gods’ which comes out on March 17 and promises to be a big box office hit with a superhero story full of adrenaline and action.
