During an interview with Yahoo, Wright looked back on her time working on the Wonder Woman films and said, “I loved playing an Amazon. I feel like I was the leader of an Amazon tribe in my past life.”
When it comes to lost paradise, has not yet been contacted, but certainly wants to participate in the project. She adds: “I didn’t get that call [about Paradise Lost] Still. Maybe I’m too old! Make it happen for me!”
lost paradise is part of James Gunn AND Peter Safran’s Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters Project List. “It will be a game of Thrones-esque story about Themyscira, Paradise Island, the home of the Amazons and is also the birthplace of Wonder Woman. This drama is really about the political intrigues behind an all women society.
Gunn previously explained: “How did that happen? What is the origin of this, of an island of all women, what are the beautiful truths and ugly truths behind it all? And how are the intrigues between the different power actors in that society. It takes place before Diana was born, so it’s an earlier story of Themyscira.
Robin Wright is amazing and it would be great to see her return to the Wonder Woman franchise, but that’s probably not in the cards.
