As confirmed by Deadline, Reynolds to Produce and Star in ‘Boy Band’ the new Paramount comedy of which not much is known yet. At the moment there is already an agreement between Paramount and the production company for which Reynolds works, Maximum Effort, to which Shawn Levy also joined of 21 Laps Entertainment, and who seems to be a regular collaborator of Reynolds lately, since they made ‘The Adam Project’ and ‘Free Guy’ together.
In addition to acting and producing, Reynolds will also participate in the screenplay, given that he is the author of the original idea, but will also have the collaboration of Jesse Andrews (‘Luca’ or ‘Every day’). Deadline also claims that Levy could be behind directing the project, but he would be just speculation since, although he and Reynolds are currently working together on ‘Deadpool 3’, he hasn’t commented on the matter yet.
