Great news for all Vikings fans! Fan favorite historical drama, Vikings: Valhalla, is officially returning for a third season, due out next year. Netflix has released a teaser on Twitter to get us excited for what’s to come, with glimpses of the journey that awaits our beloved heroes.
While we wait for the next installment, let’s remember where we last left off. The season two finale saw the trio of main characters, Freydis Eriksdottír, Leif Erikson, and Harald Sigursson, go their separate ways. Freydis traveled to Jomsborg, a legendary Viking fortress, to bear his son, while Leif and Harald set out on a perilous journey across the Baltic Sea to reach the city of Constantinople. With their destinies now diverging, we’re left to reflect on what’s in store for these valiant warriors in the coming season.
If you haven’t reached Vikings: Valhalla yet, now is the perfect time to dive in. This gripping series has captivated audiences with its thrilling narratives and depictions of legendary Viking explorers forging new paths across Europe. Furthermore, it is a gripping exploration of the tensions that arose between the pagan and Christian factions of Viking society. So, get ready for another chapter of this epic Viking adventure.

The series was created by Jeb Stuart and stars Frida Gustavson, Sam Corletto, Leo Suter, AND Goran Visnjic plays Erik the Red. Laura Berlin, Pollyanna McIntosh, Bradley FreegardAND David Oakes will also come back.
