Hollywood remembers Raquel Welch: Reese Witherspoon, Paul Feig, Chris Meloni and more

Raquel Welch, the legendary actress who died on Wednesday at the age of 82 after a career spanning more than 50 years in film and television, is throwing water.

“So sad to hear of Raquel Welch’s death,” Reese Witherspoon tweeted. I loved working with her on Legally Blonde. She was incredibly elegant, professional and glamorous. Just breathtaking. May all her angels carry her home.”

“It’s so pathetic. I had the great pleasure to be with Ms. Welch when I was a regular on Sabrina the Teenage Witch and she was amazing.” Actor Paul Feig tweeted.

“Friendly, funny and a true superstar that I had a crush on for most of my childhood,” Feig added. “We have lost a true icon.”

Even the Muppets contributed a memorial to the icon.

“We will never forget our remarkable friend Raquel Welch, one of our favorite guests on The Muppet Show. From dancing with a giant spider to inspiring @Fozziebear and duets with @MissPiggy, Raquel can do it all!”
