The controversy with M&Ms

One of the most anticipated was that of M&Ms chocolates. A few days ago, the company decided to lay off its usual mascots, the live and art versions of the candy, because a conservative section of the population complained that they were getting “too progressive” (for switching one from wearing heels to trainers, anyway). They announced that Maya Rudolph would henceforth be the brand image, but at the Super Bowl they revealed in their commercial that the move hadn’t worked and they would be reverting to their usual spokespeople.
