Even less than three weeks after its release, ‘Creed 3’ has already been screened to some members of the trade press, and early reactions to Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut are very favourable. Various critics praised the film, noting the impressive value of the fight scenes between Adonis and Damian.

According to early reports (via The Direct), the first reviews of ‘believe 3’ they are very “positive””, following the press screenings of the film in recent days, before its release on March 2 in cinemas in Mexico, and the following day in the rest of the world. The spin-off is now directed by Michael B. Jordan, who now does without Sylvester Stallone in the story.

Several critics such as Kristian Harloff have stated that “Creed III’ it is an “intense emotional journey”, which “rarely” really feels the absence of Rocky Balboa, and which “never departs from the main story” between Adonis and Damian. It should be remembered that, on this occasion, the protagonist’s enemy is played by Jonathan Majors, known for his appearance in Disney +’s “Loki”, as well as in the upcoming “Ant-Man 3”.

Matt Neglia’s Next Best Picture highlighted the directorial work of Michael B. Jordan ‘believe 3’: “He does an admirable job as a director. His performance, however, is among his best and the boxing scenes in IMAX are downright impressive.” While The Root’s Shannelle Genai says this is “by far the best” of the trilogy, featuring a “terrifying and formidable foe “.

First reactions to the premiere of ‘Creed 3’

At the moment the first reviews have not been published, but in general the reactions of ‘Creed 3’ show that it is a sequel worthy of the trilogy. JL Barrow of FathersWhoBother says: “I got a heart rate alert from my Apple Watch while watching Creed 3. I kid you not. MBJ took everything he loved from the first – the heart, the family, the fights – and added his own style”.

Matt Ramos, known on social media as Supe, also added: “It’s the best film of the trilogy. This movie is brilliantly written and Jonathan Majors has stolen another movie that doesn’t belong to him. You won’t know who to root for. What a fantastic directorial debut for Michael B. Jordan, which exceeded all my expectations.”

With the fourth film in the saga confirmed, all expectations are now placed on the fight between Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors of “Creed 3”, and how he will leave the story to continue in a future film, and the various spin-offs are preparing for the franchise. It opens on March 2nd.
