The blacklist it’s wrapping up after the season 10 premiere in late February, NBC has confirmed in a new press release. The long-running drama series starring james spader will premiere its latest season on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The 200th episode of the series will air on Sunday, March 19. NBC also released the official trailer for Season 10, aptly titled “Say Goodbye To Red.”
NBC’s description for the upcoming season reads: “In its historic tenth season, “The Blacklist” returns as Raymond Reddington (James Spader) faces danger like no other. With Reddington’s secret role as an FBI informant exposed, former blacklists will unite against him in their deadly desire for revenge, testing Red and the FBI Task Force like never before. “
John Eisendrathshowrunner and executive producer of The blacklist, released a statement on the show’s final season. “TOAfter 10 years, hundreds of ‘blacklisted’ cases, and over 200 episodes produced, we are honored to come to our conclusion,” he said. “It’s been incredibly fun creating weird, sneaky, delightful Blacklists to challenge Raymond Reddington and our FBI task force every week”.
Jason Clodfelter, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Television Studios, said in a statement: “James led a diverse and talented cast that also included legendary guest stars and hundreds of Blacklisters who kept us rooting for this anti-hero. Kudos to Reddington for the dedicated production team, hardworking crew and talented writers. Unpredictable twists and turns have produced a television show that has served to entertain global audiences, and as we enter the final season, we can’t wait for audiences to see Raymond Reddington take his final bow.”
The blacklist premiered on September 23, 2013 on NBC and quickly became one of the network’s highest-rated dramas in its ten-season run. The show received two Golden Globe nominations, for James Spader, an Emmy Award in the stunt category, a SAG Award nomination, and two People’s Choice Award nominations.
Besides Jamie, The blacklist even stars Diego Klattenhoff, Hisham Tawfiq, Anya Banerjee AND Harry Lennix. Former cast members include ryan eggold, Megan Bonone, Mozhan Marno, I love to rise upAND Laura Sonn.
