Critical role and Amazon Studios have announced they will continue to work together on a new multi-year deal for TV and movies, and that came alongside the news that they are also developing a Powerful Nein series.
Powerful Nein is an animated adaptation of the second Critical Role campaign, and will go into production soon, and is produced by Tasha Huo, Sam RigelAnd Travis Willingham along with the Metapigeon banner from Critical Role and Amazon Studios. Chris Prinoski (The Legend of Vox Machina), Shannon Prinoski (Fairfax), Anthony Canobbio (Arlo the alligator boy), And Ben Kalin (Big mouth) by Titmouse will also executive produce.
Critical Role will produce the series under its Metapigeon production banner, which is where all other television shows, films and other original content will be developed. They will also be developing projects both “in and out of the Critical Role universe” as part of their first look deal.

Seeing the stories and characters from our first campaign take life on The Legend of Vox Machina has been a dream come true and we are absolutely thrilled to do it again with Mighty Nein. While fans will have to wait Powerful Nein out, Season 2 of The Legend of Vox Machina is currently airing on Prime Video with new episodes dropping every week.
