After a 50-year friendship and more than 20 film collaborations, Steven Spielberg doesn’t remember having a single disagreement with John Williams, with whom he has a sort of “ideal marriage relationship”. For the director, Williams composed (among others) the soundtracks for ‘AI Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Indiana Jones’, ‘ET, the extraterrestrial’ or ‘Jurassic Park’, and although he planned to retire from filmmaking at the age of 90 after composing the music for James Mangold’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’, in the end he decided that he still has many stories to go with it.
