The 28th Critics Choice Awards leaves behind a long list of winners. The critics association awards its prizes during a gala in Los Angeles where we already know the winners of this 2023 season. “All at once everywhere” becomes the film of the year for American critics, winning five of the fourteen prizes to which he was entitled: Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay (Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan) and Best Editing (Paul Rogers).

Among other achievements of the night, Cate Blanchett received the Best Actress Award for ‘Tár’, while Brendan Fraser was crowned Best Actor for his work in ‘The Whale’.
Also, ‘Knives in the Back: The Mystery of the Glass Onion’ manages to become the best comedy film, managing to snatch the category to ‘Inisherin’s Banshee’, which had won it at the past Golden Globes, ‘Pinocchio’ by Guillermo del Toro triumphs again as Best Animated Film.
Not only was the Fairmont Century Plaza the setting for the feature film parade, series also have their place in these awards, being “Better Call Saul” the most awarded. In another order of things, Bob Odenkirk wins the award for Best Male Performance in a Drama Series for his work in the spin-off of “Breaking Bad”, while Zendaya, after winning the Golden Globe, continues his streak by collecting now the Critics Choice Award for Best Female Performance in a Drama for “Euphoria.”
