In the blink of an eye, the first 15 days of the year have already passed and with it the arrival in the middle of the first month of the year. And while there’s still some new stuff to come for the rest of January, these are the 10 most popular movies and series that subscribers shouldn’t miss if they want to keep up with the latest on the service.
In the first place of The 10 most popular Netflix series, is “Queen of the South” in its third season with Kate del Castillo. The telenovela that attracted the most attention in 2023 during its launch on the platform. While in second place remains ‘Merlina’, who has recovered at least one position, which ‘Ginny and Georgia’ had taken away from her in the previous days.
While in fourth place on the Netflix list is the second season of ‘Vikings: Valhalla’, the exciting period series which is a spin-off that takes place 100 years after the main installment. And just below it is ‘Hasta que la plata nos separe’, the Colombian telenovela that is about to break some records of more than 12 weeks in the Top 10.

Starting from sixth place Netflix’s 10 Most Popular is ‘Mother there are only two’ with its new season, ‘Las Villamizar’, ‘La dama de los muertos’, a horror and suspense thriller that has gone viral in recent days. Like the Korean drama ‘La Gloria’, and ‘Jenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio’ dropping to 10th.

As for the The 10 most popular Netflix series Things haven’t changed much, given that ‘Ruido’, a drama by director Natalia Beristáin, the same director of ‘Los Adioses’, another acclaimed Mexican film, remains in first place. And in second place, moved up a few places ‘Perro Perdido’, an emotional story based on a true story of a dog who gets lost and his family does everything possible to find him.
Who dropped to third place is ‘Sing: Come and sing’, the animated musical which has a great voice cast, such as Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Matthew McConaughey and others. In fourth position is Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pinocchio’, another stop-motion animation that is sure to regain popularity in the awards season.
