The popular FX drama series bike club Maya MC will come to an end. A few months after the show’s renewal for season five, we learned that season five will be its last. I have enjoyed this show over the years and it will be interesting to see how the creative team pulls off this show.

Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
The news was announced by FX Content and FX Productions president John Landgraf during the network’s presentation at the Television Critics Association’s Winter 2023 press tour.
The show is set in the same universe as Sons of Anarchy, and the series follows JD Pardo as Ezekiel “EZ’ Reyes, a founding member of the Mayans Motorcycle Club on the California-Mexico border. “He and his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) and the rest of the Holy Father MC face retaliation from other chapters after a failed attempt to align under one king. Meanwhile, EZ and Angel have distanced themselves from their father Felipe (Edoardo Giacomo Olmos) after a great betrayal.
Speaking about the show’s ending, co-creator Elgin James previously said, “We know where it ends. I know the last shot. So, it’s not in Season 4, so I’ll just say there has to be at least one more. But we know exactly where it ends and we’ve been heading for some time now.”
Can’t wait to see what the last shot will be!
