New trailer and poster for romantic comedy SOMEBODY I USED TO KNOW starring Alison Brie and directed by Dave Franco

A new trailer and poster for the upcoming modern romantic comedy has been released, Someone I knew. The film was directed by Dave Francofrom a screenplay he co-wrote with his wife and frequent collaborator, Alison Brie. This is Franco and Brie’s fourth collaboration (The rent, The disaster artist, The Little Hours). The film features an ensemble cast led by Alison Brie e Jay Ellis (Insecure, Top Gun: Maverick), Kiersey Clemons (Drug, treasure), Haley Joel Osment (The sixth sense, Pay it in advance), Danny Pudi (Community, Knights of Badassdom) And Julie Hagerty (Freddy has fingers, Airplane!).

Here is the synopsis:

Workaholic TV producer Ally (Alison Brie) faces a major professional setback that sends her scurrying to the comforts of her hometown. She spends a whirlwind evening reminiscing about her first love Sean (Jay Ellis) and begins to question everything about the person she has become. Things get even more confusing when she learns that Sean is marrying Cassidy (Kiersey Clemons) whose confident and creative convictions remind Ally of who she once was. Directed by Dave Franco and written by Franco and Alison Brie, SOMEONE I KNEW is an unconventional love story about three people who unexpectedly help each other rediscover who they really are, where they came from and where they are going.
