A super intense new trailer for the racially charged revenge thriller is out Much Than Nothing, which begs the question, what happens when people have just had enough? After another police-related shooting pierces the heart of the black community, the officer in charge’s seemingly perfect neighbors appear to have snapped.
The cast includes Y’lan Noel, Cleopatra Colemann, Justin Hartley, Shamier AndersonAnd Lex Scott Davisand the film is directed by MoMcRae in his feature film directorial debut, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Sarah Kelly Kaplan.
Here is the synopsis:
James and Vanessa (Y’lan Noel and Cleopatra Coleman) seem to be the perfect match: happily married, successful and comfortable. One night, their lives are rocked to their core when, after seeing a tragedy on the evening news, they realize their neighbor was also involved. In a state of shock and with opposing views on how to deal with the matter, they decide to seek justice against a neighbor.
Sounds like a wild ride! From what I see in the trailer, I don’t really know where this story is headed, but it looks intriguing. Check out the trailer and poster below and see Much Than Nothing in select US theaters and on VOD February 3.
