Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had a fantastic night at the Golden Globes this week, when the Queen of Wakanda herself, Angela Bassetto, won the award for Best Supporting Actress. Her speech was beautiful and it was great to see her take home the award, making her the first actress to take home a major acting award for a Marvel film. But that wasn’t the only exciting thing Black Panthernews related to going out of the night.

Variety tweeted that in an interview with Letizia Wright On the red carpet, the actress who plays Shuri in the films was asked about a possible third film, and she said:
“I think it’s already in the works. We’ve just had a fantastic two years [Wakanda Forever] out… we need a little break. We have to regroup [director Ryan Coogler] must return to the laboratory. It’s going to take a while, but I’m really excited for you guys to get to see it.”
Wright, realizing he was probably putting his foot in his mouth, took his statement back, saying:
“I always try to think positively and believe that good words manifest. So I’m manifesting a Black Panther 3, why not?”
I’m betting Marvel has reached out to gauge interest from the film’s director and cast, and they’ve likely renewed the necessary contracts, so while we haven’t seen an official statement about the next planned sequel, they probably know a little more. about us… for now. Stay tuned and let us know what storyline you would like the franchise to tackle next.
