Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming documentary film Pamela, A love storywhich will explore the life of Pamela Anderson. The film was released with the tagline “Pamela Anderson Defined a Decade. She Now She Will Define Herself.”
In her own words, through videos and personal diaries, Pamela Anderson shares the story of her rise to fame, rocky romances, and the notorious sex tape scandal. It feels like a fascinating look into Anderson’s life, and I love that she’s taking control of her own story with this documentary.
The documentary is an “intimate and humanizing portrait of one of the world’s most famous blonde bombshells, Pamela, a love story that follows the trajectory of Pamela Anderson’s life and career from small-town girl to international sex symbol, actress, activist and loving mother.”
Anderson explained: “I was very hesitant, but looking back, I feel empowered and I hope so [my story] it inspires people to have fun and not worry so much.”
This film is directed by Ryan White, the director of last year’s film Goodnight Oppy as well as Assassins. Pamela, a love story will be released on Netflix starting January 31, 2023.
