The 2023 Golden Globe Awards took place last night and it was amazing to see a lot of great talent win this year. All that matters to me, the one thing I hoped would happen, was for Huy Quan key to win Best Supporting Actor for his role in Everything everywhere all at once, and it did! So, that made me happy!

As for the cinema, The Fabelmans And The Banshees of Inisherin got top marks, both of which I loved. And Abbott Elementary, House of the Dragon And The White Lotus they were among the big television winners. So Guillermo del Toro’S Pinocchio it won Best Animated Feature, which was nice to see.

One of the big surprises for me was that Brendan Fraser he did not win the best actor award for his role in The whale. He lost against Austin Butler for his role in Elvis. While I loved Elvis and I thought Butler’s performance was great, but Fraser definitely gave the better performance.
