Jeremy Renner in ‘critical but stable’ condition in Reno after weather accident while plowing snow

Jeremy Renner is in “critical but stable condition with injuries sustained following a weather-related snowplow accident earlier today,” his spokesperson told Deadline on Sunday.

Renner, a two-time Academy Award nominee, stars in the recurring Paramount+ series The mayor of Kingstown and Marvel’s hawk eye Series about Disney+ and the movies Avengers and Captain America.

Deadline has heard of an accident and that Renner was airlifted to the hospital the previous Sunday. His spokesman said his family is now with him and he is being “excellently cared for”. We’ll let you know more when we hear.

According to the Reno Gazette Journal, Renner has a house in the area, near the mountain. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno. The region experienced a winter storm on New Year’s Eve that left 35,000 homes without power in northern Nevada’s Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey and Lyon counties this morning, the paper said.

Renner received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor in 2010 The pain boxand received an Oscar nomination for Supporting Actor the following year The town.

Mayor of Kingston begins its second season on January 15 on Paramount+. Created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the series is produced for Par+ by 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions, MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Network.

Renner previously starred in Sheridan’s 2017 drama wind flows.
