Fans went to the theater and even came back again to enjoy this film, so it’s no surprise that the film’s recent release on Paramount+ was a gigantic success!
The film debuted on the streamer on December 22 and quickly became the most watched film ever to debut on the streaming service nationwide. He quickly got over it sonic the hedgehogThe previous premiere weekend viewership record was 60%, though Paramount has yet to reveal the exact numbers it garnered.
Deadline reports that in anticipation of maverickAfter its debut on the service, the public refreshed their memory about the original Top Guns film, which saw viewers increase by around 400%. It was apparently a Tom Cruise-inspired weekend, as was the Mission Impossible the franchise saw a 140% increase in viewership.
Top Gun: nonconformist it crossed the $1.4 billion mark worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing films of all time.
