Stranger things star Gaten Matrazzo is a big fan of The Legend of Zeldaand in a recent interview with Variety, he revealed that he spoke to Nintendo about some of the latest game titles and that’s when he talked about how he’d like to see a cartoon Legend of Zelda movie, and shared his introduction:
“I’m a huge Legend of Zelda fan and have always wanted to see a very visually and musically driven animated film. It might be difficult when most of the characters never speak, but exploring a silent vocal world where a story can be told visually and through the soundtrack would be really cool.”
Yup! I’d be down for that! But there is no way the Hollywood machine could make such a film. They would take every step to bring it up to eleven and it would be titled The Legend of Zeldabut it wouldn’t actually look like anything from the francise game.
Fans wanted to see a Legend of Zelda movies for years, but unless they bring in a studio and creative team to get it right, I don’t want to see that happen. I think Matarazzo should push the vision of him!
