

After dressing up as Rogue for Halloween 2022, Keke Palmer is ready to give the fans what they want by playing the iconic X Men character on the big screen. And she wants to do it with channing tatumwho was slated to play Rogue’s lover Gambit in a standalone film before Disney’s merger with 21st Century Fox in 2019.
“I think Channing Tatum and I are going to be perfect together, baby,” said Keke, 29. Hollywood life EXCLUSIVELY when discussing their partnership with Doritos for their Big “Dip” campaign on their new line of Doritos and Big Dip Energy Toast flavored dips.

“I’m ready for him as my on-screen husband,” she said. No The actress added about Channing, 42. “O boyfriend, whatever. We don’t even need labels. I’m ready for this.”
Keke explained that Channing “doesn’t take himself too seriously” but is also “very captivating as an artist”. Keke thinks this combination makes Channing the perfect Gambit for his Rogue when the X-Men (eventually) enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“It’s not that he doesn’t take himself very seriously, and he’s a jerk,” Keke said. “It’s like he doesn’t take himself too seriously, and he’s like, ‘My God, I want to see you win.’ And so I’m like, along with my kind of, ‘oh, you know, I don’t take myself too seriously. But hey, I’ll do my best’, I think we could be fabulous together. I already love the cast.

Weather Anna Pachino most notably, she played Rogue on Fox’s X Men movie, Channing never got the chance to play Gambit on the big screen. He spoke of feeling “traumatized” after the Gambit movie was scrapped in an interview with Variety in February 2022.
“I turned off my Marvel machine. I didn’t get to see any of the movies,” Channing admitted. “I loved this character. It was very sad. It was like losing a friend because I was so ready to play him.” But Channing confirmed that he would play Gambit if given the chance. “I would like to play Gambit. Don’t believe us [him and his longtime producer partner Reid Carolin] you have to drive it. I think it was arrogance on our part.”
