Football star Darius Boyd and wife Kayla are selling their sprawling Brisbane home just a year after extensive renovations.

The couple are advertising their upcoming five-bedroom Dominio house in downtown Paddington, which will be up for auction.

The stunning house is architecturally pavilion-style and is located on 606 m² of land in an affluent residential area.

Kayla recently took to Instagram to share details about the family’s relocation after overseeing the redesign of the entire venue.

“Because life hasn’t been chaotic enough lately,” she wrote, sharing photos of the house on Instagram.

“It’s been almost a year since we moved into our dream home, so we knew it was time to launch and make it official! We’re selling our second beautiful building.’

Kayla said she was “proud” with the couple for meeting their restructuring goals.

“I am proud of ourselves for being able to achieve the goals we collectively set for ourselves,” he wrote.

Master: Five bedrooms are served by four bathrooms with a mix of marble and tiles. The master suite has a private bathroom and a large walk-in closet.

Bright and airy, the house definitely benefits from the Brisbane climate with large windows and doors that let fresh air in.

“The blood, sweat, tears and sacrifices are worth it in the end. That’s always been our plan, build it, live in a year and then sell it.’

Footballer Darius discussed his loyalty to wife Kayla during his stay at SAS Australia earlier this year.

The 34-year-old passed out during an emotional interrogation eight years ago after revealing that his “whole life had been turned upside down” while suffering from mental health problems.

After the couple got out of the scandal, Kayla and the retired athlete, who is now in a great place, talked about the unrest.

“Seven or eight years ago I struggled with my mental health. To be honest, my whole life has been turned upside down.”

“I certainly wasn’t feeling well at that time in my life. There were many things I would change and do differently.

“It was just hurting people and disappointing people. My mother, my grandmother, my wife Kayla,” he concluded.
