As the Public News Service writes, the eminent director believes that Russian cinema can be increased only by relying on the experience of the USSR. Then there was a full-fledged industry that took into account all the needs of the citizens.
“The secret of the quality of Soviet cinema lies in a single well-thought-out industry for its production, which does not exist today. Films were produced in state film studios, and although they were located in different parts of the country, they all created products that were equally close to all Soviet people. What now!” said Bortko.
