Recently, the once absolute world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is almost unrecognizable. From a powerful athlete he turned into a decrepit old man. The celebrity is rumored to have broken through his long-term illness, but Tyson himself no longer believes in a better outcome.
Recently, the New York Post published fresh photos of the boxer from the Miami airport. On top of them is a gray-bearded heavyweight in a wheelchair, holding a wooden cane at the ready in his hands. Apparently, Mike Tyson began to experience an aggravation of chronic sciatica, which is now afflicting him for the third year. It is known that in 2020 he was even bedridden.
But the athlete himself no longer believes in a positive outcome of his illness. In one of his last interviews, he spoke of the thoughts that came to his mind when he looked at himself in the mirror:
“Wow. My expiration date is almost up. This will be over soon.”
