Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke and her husband Gareth have spoken openly about their struggles to get pregnant through a surrogate mother.
The couple appeared for an emotional interview at Good Morning UK on Monday and shared heartbreaking details about their surrogate mother’s recent miscarriage and their determination to become parents using IVF.
Ollie, 35, said the couple has not given up on their dreams of starting a family and will start another IVF cycle next month.

“We had a failed IVF attempt and miscarriage and we’ll be back next month for our next round,” Ollie said candidly.
Ollie said that Gareth, 31, and he are open with fans about their struggle, as they want to use their public platform to raise awareness and help others.
‘We think representation is very important and [we] We have a platform to do that – we wanted to do it publicly,” he said.
In January, the couple appeared in Lorraine and announced that they had lost five embryos in one year during the struggle to become parents.

“We had a failed IVF attempt and miscarriage, and we’re going to try again next month for our next round,” Ollie said candidly.
“This is our main and complete goal. We are so ready,” Ollie says of his plans to try IVF again.
‘We lost five embryos in the last year. We went to Cyprus, Mexico and the USA, it was difficult and very expensive. But we are still trying and we have a lot of support.
Gareth added: “All the backlash just lets you know you’re ready.”
The reality TV stars shared their journey on social media, and Lorraine and the couple agreed that it’s important to use their platform to tackle tough issues.

Ollie said: “The Made In Chelsea crowd was a great ride. Now it’s great to be part of a community that speaks more openly about abortions and IVF.
Ollie shared on Instagram that they lost a baby last year and shared a photo of a robe that read “Baby Locke” on it.
Alongside the robe photo, Ollie revealed that her surrogates sadly miscarried at six weeks after learning she was pregnant in November.
He wrote: ‘Trigger alert. This is the last thing I want to write about, but unfortunately it is part of our journey.

“In early November, our lives changed in the most extraordinary and wonderful way, she polished two perfect lines with a pregnancy test that told us we were pregnant, and Gareth, I, our surrogate and our families were delighted.
“After a rough year, a little bean has become the best person imaginable, the best early Christmas gift we can imagine.
“It stopped growing at a natural interval of 6 weeks and 2 days and disappeared.”
Ollie, who met her partner Gareth ten years ago before they dated in 2018, said they didn’t want another couple to face the heartbreak and financial difficulties they had.

In May of last year, Ollie told Daily Mail Australia about his excitement about becoming a father and starting a family with Gareth, saying, “There’s nothing in my life that I’m more excited or ready for than this.”
The author and reality star said that writing is at the top of her agenda.
“Being the best father I can be is by far my top priority,” he said.
‘I’m filming everyone on this trip, [I’m] “This year, I want to write two new books and start two new companies so I can keep ruining them forever.”
The couple secretly married in front of 13 guests, including bridesmaids Binky Felstead and Olivia Bentley, at the Natural History Museum of London in November 2020. The extraordinary wedding was aired on E4’s MIC in December.
