Kanye West has finally responded to criticism from buyers of his clothing collection, which the rapper offered for sale in garbage bags. The artist not only refused to apologize, but also explained where these bags actually come from and why the media is still responsible for the scandal.
According to West, he chose this entourage because he was inspired by ‘the homeless and children’ when creating the collection. And the hip-hop star immediately made it clear that the bags are not waste, but construction. The artist also responded to the fact that buyers accused the rapper of disrespect and mocking of customers. As expected, West acknowledged neither.
“Look, I’m an innovator. I’m not here to apologize for my ideas. That’s exactly what the media is trying to do: apologize to us for any idea that doesn’t fit how they want us to think. It’s not a joke. This is not a game. This isn’t just another celebrity collaboration. This is my life. I’m fighting for the opportunity to switch clothes and offer people better designs,” the rapper said in an interview with Fox News.
