Michele Placido left his first wife for the famous actress Simonetta Stefanelli, who played Michael Corleone’s wife in The Godfather. But even with her, the marriage did not last long – even after the birth of her daughter. By this time, the artist had already starred in “Octopus” and was a superstar in Italy.

It was then that he had an affair with aspiring actress Virginia Alexandre, wrote “The New Hearth”. The girl gave birth to a child of a married man, about whom the legal wife learned when two heirs already appeared in the couple.
