The 34-year-old former TOWIE star shared in an exclusive interview with MailOnline how her mother and best friends were worried that she would die of her addiction at a time when they broke up not to let her in.
While James said he was happy that his family was “going well” in his sobriety, he spoke encouragingly about how he managed to stay clean and focus on healing, using tactics to fight his cravings when they came.

He told us: ‘My use has dire consequences for other people, like my mother and close friends, because they panic because they think their child or best friend is going to die.
“I give other people anxiety and sleepless nights, and other people need therapy because of my problems.
“You can see from their eyes and their faces how happy they are because I am that good and at the same time I work hard, I am arrogant, arrogant or insecure, I am calm, there is still a fear of being left behind. So I have to be humble and take my recovery seriously.

She continued: “There is still a fear of possible relapse. I always did everything possible not to let it out, not leak it, I begged my manager please if there is any story about my drug or alcohol use, you should stop.
“I’d have a sleepless night in case this story came out, my life would be over, my career would be over.”
Arg soberly describes his journey, saying that every day is a “learning curve” and that despite being clean for a long time, he was determined not to compromise.

Candid: James added that he is happy that his family is “doing well” in his sobriety, but he knows he fears “a possible relapse,” so he should take his recovery “seriously”.
She explained: “You feel like you don’t have to go to meetings anymore, that you don’t have to see my counselor or therapist so often.

Her “shocked and worried” friends called an ambulance, and after the test, paramedics agreed that the star was confident she would recover at home.
In 2019, James was hospitalized twice after taking a drug overdose at his home.
The shock is said to be a “wake-up call” for James, who later “agrees that he needs professional help.”
Arg has struggled with alcohol and drug addiction since rising to fame at TOWIE and being suspended from the program in 2014 after failing a routine drug test.
The TV star spent three months at a resort in Thailand during the 2016 holiday season to get the “ongoing support” she needed.
In August 2019, Arg returned to rehab after leaving Gemma Collins to face her demons. He completed a third course of treatment in 2020 before undergoing gastric bypass surgery.
