Stanley Johnson stepped off the set of the television show Piers Morgan during an argument over the son of Stanley’s prime minister, Boris Johnson.

The Prime Minister’s father appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored TalkTV program on Tuesday night (June 14), but the interview got worse.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter told Stanley about his son, Prime Minister Boris, but Stanley ended up calling Piers a “cheater” and claimed he was “hooked” by the station.

Stanley defended his son’s actions during the Partygate scandal, telling Piers he was confident Boris would still be prime minister two years from now.

But the 81-year-old ended up leaving the interview because he was fed up with Piers, so he left before the segment ended.

Concluding the interview, Piers said: “It’s nice to see you, [and] as always an effervescent presence “.

Stanley replied, “You’re a cheat, I have to tell you,” before adding, “You know, you lured me here …”

Piers interrupted him to say: “I’m a trophy hunter, I got the trophy.”

Stanley replied: “I don’t think it’s a trophy.”

Piers continued: “There is nothing wrong with defending your son and we need to talk about the trophy hunt and his book.

“And I showed you doing the handstand, the words you’re looking for Stanley are ‘Thank you, Piers’.”

However, Stanley decided to get up from his seat and leave the room before Piers could take a commercial break.

Stanley shook hands with Piers and said, “See you guys.”

Piers then urged Stanley: “Tell Boris to come soon.”

The former ITV star looked pretty baffled before moving on with the show.

He joked: “I think he will get Boris out of the fridge.”

Earlier in the interview, Piers asked Stanley about Boris’ chances of remaining prime minister.

The presenter told Stanley: “The stats are completely against him now. Almost no Conservative prime minister has survived a vote of no confidence for more than six months. “

Stanley replied, “Let me tell you something, I’m pretty sure this time, in two years, you and I could have this conversation and you’re going to say, well, ‘You’re still the Prime Minister’s father, Stanley.'”

Piers Morgan Uncensored airs Monday through Friday at 9pm on TalkTV.
