A few years have passed after the final of the “The Big Bang Theory” series, but many spectators still have a rainfall of how they completed the story.

The most important claims are related to the line of Leonard and Penny, which, according to fans, was specifically spoiled in the final phase.

Why the end caused dissatisfaction

By the twelfth season, Leonard and Penny have been married for several years and their story turned into a background. To add drama, the screenwriters unexpectedly introduced a conflict about whether they want children. But that was the problem:

  • The plot developed unevenly and contradictory;
  • The emphasis shifted to the noble race of Sheldon and Amy, and the Hofstedter line turned out to be secondary;
  • The decision turned out to be too sharp – Penny’s sudden pregnancy, who opposed her former position.

For many spectators this looked illogical: for a long time the heroine opened openly that she did not want any children, and nothing fought that she would change this opinion.

What the actors themselves think

Interestingly, fans’ dissatisfaction is shared by the performer of the role of Penny, Kayley Kuoko. In the Book of Memoirs “The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series” Actress gave actress:

“In fact, I didn’t want Penny to make a pregnant woman, because I really liked the message that she didn’t want any children. Of course it was cute because the screenwriters defeated the final with an unexpected pregnancy, and in general I was happy, but in fact I voted for Penny who was left without a child.”

Her words are reflected by the general skepticism: the audience was of the opinion that the scenarists were in a hurry to finish the plot without working out the subject to the end.
