Why the film didn’t work
We are talking about “Torah 2: The Kingdom of Darkness” (Arid: De Dark World), who came out in 2013 and became a continuation of the history of the God Thunder after the events of the Avengers. Instead of the development of the characters, the audience received a standard superhero plot with a magical artifact, a threat to the entire universe and an enemy, whose motifs were reduced to the next banal ‘destroy everything around’.
The most important claim of fans and critics is the lack of development of heroes. Even potentially dramatic moments, such as the death of an important character, quickly written off by the turns of the plot. As a result, the film was remembered as one of the most impersonal in the early MCU (we still didn’t know what would happen later!).

“I was not happy with what I did. I didn’t think I developed the character somehow, the audience didn’t show something unexpected or news.”

This approach gave back the interest of the audience in the hero, but in the future “Torah: Love and Thunder” (2022), many critics found them to exaggerate with comedy, making the character a caricature changed.
