The last episode “How to MedMed Punishment for Murder” raised the line under all the most important plot lines – and eventually answered the main question that was asked in the beginning: who really succeeded in avoiding responsibility.

At the end of the series, photography takes place directly at the exit of the courtroom. Governor Birchead is deadly injured – Frank shot her and acted on his own initiative. However, the guards immediately kill him and he dies in place. Bonnie is also fatally injured in a shooting. Both die in the final of the series, directly on the stairs of the courthouse.
An episode for the last Hannah -Kus seemed like an important witness to the defense. In the final, however, it is announced that she died – officially this suicide. Annaliz suspects that Frank killed her, but he denies. He later accuses the governor of this, which in fact becomes his personal motive for retaliation.
That has been given immunity
Oliver agrees about the conditions under which Connor can avoid prison. But Connor refuses: he feels guilty of his role in events and decides to leave the term. Michaela, on the other hand, agrees with the deal and receives immunity and claims that her past was already a rather serious punishment.
The process of annalism
On the field the key turned out to be an audio recording, in which Hannah accuses the governor of killing Father Nate. This allows protection to undermine the persecution. Nate itself also acts, who refuses a profitable transaction, confirms that Hannah has set up and transfers the Annalese of the dying recognition of WES.
The jury recognizes Annaliz harmless. On all points of the persecution.
Who really “escaped from punishment”
Connor goes to prison. Michaela is the only one of the whole group who leaves without sense. But in the final it becomes clear that she completely loses contact with the rest: Oliver refuses to communicate and Laurel changes the song.
What happened at the funeral
Annaliz’s funeral scene at the start of the season is not a cheat. She really dies after many years, in old age. Among those present are the old Connor and Oliver, as well as Laurel. Michaela is not: she becomes a judge and in the final she is shown during the oedceremony surrounded by her family.
The appearance of Wes is not really a flashback, but a scene from the future. We see the adult son of Lorel and Wes – Christopher, who now learns the law and starts a lecture with the same words with which the series started six years ago.
