Spectators are already kidding that if this prediction comes out, the mask will soon have problems, not only on earth, but also in space.
It is about the fourth episode of the 35th season called Thirst Trap: A Corporate Love Story. The main character – the young startup in the spirit of Elizabeth Holmes (even speaks her Elizabeth banks) – tries to lure investments from Mr Burns. At one point he presents her a “gift”:
– Twitter – gift voucher? – The heroine asks.
– No, I bought a Twitter for you. Completely! – Answers burns. – It cost cheap: the past had to sell the owner after his Martian rocket with a steering machine crashed at an international space station.
The expression immediately spread through social networks. Fans of the show considered this a different ‘prediction’, in the spirit of those who have already become memes: the victory of Trump, the merger of Disney and Fox, the failures of the Olympiads. Some even started to build a joke a conspiracy theory, as if the SIMPSons screenysters were generally a separate exploration.
It is funny that Musk himself was already in Simpsons: in 2015 he expressed himself in the episode of the Musk Wh Fell to Earth, when his reputation was not yet thoroughly spoiled by dubious antics. Apparently the love for “Simpsons” for the invited stars does not prevent the authors that regularly kick the same stars.
