Even the Creator himself is not sure if the final was a success.
Before the premiere of the third – and the final – the season of “Calmar Games” remained a few days. But instead of a triumph mood at a press conference, a completely different one sounded. The author of the Khvan Don Hyok series honestly admitted: he still doesn’t know if he got the final well.
“I still think how successful it is,” he said. “Decide with the public.”
The last season is the shortest – only six episodes. According to Khun, the final demanded a serious choice:
“It was difficult. I had to make a difficult decision,” he added.
What he had in mind is not specified, but the intonation was unambiguous – this completion was absolutely not easy.
Comparisons with the “Game of Thrones” arise itself: an intrigues for long -term, a cult status, the expectation of a denouement that fits everyone – and a good chance that this will not happen. Especially when the author himself says in advance that he is not sure of the result.

For Khan, this season is at least the latter. He immediately stated: “It’s time to say goodbye and continue. Four years is enough.” And although gratitude for success sincerely sounded, it seems that he had already set the point for himself.
“I don’t expect such a scale. This is madness. This experience will affect everything I will do afterwards. There was everything – and praise and criticism. I hope I will have good memories of the final.”
The premiere of the third season is June 27 at Netflix.
