He joined TikTok less than a week after winning his defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, and sent a thank you message to those who stood by him during the trial.

Johnny Depp has more than eight million followers on the social media app within 24 hours of his first video.

The 58-year-old actress dedicated the short clip to her “most beloved, most loyal and unwavering supporter”.

Depp, who currently has 10.7 million followers on TikTok, shared his video compilation on Tuesday and has already had 24.3 million views.

TikTok features clips of him arriving at the courthouse in front of a crowd of fans and later seeing him playing guitar on stage with his friend Jeff Beck’s band.

Depp made the following statement in the 30-second video: “To my dearest, most loyal and unwavering supporters. We were together everywhere, we saw everything together. We walked together on the same road.

“We did the right thing together because you cared. And now let’s move on together.

“You are my employer as always, and once again I am so small that there is no other way than to say thank you. Thank you. Best regards, JD’.

Amber Heard dismayed her ex-husband Johnny Depp, who, after joining TikTok, sang for his victory in the libel lawsuit to thank his fans for their support and declare that they “go on.”

“We’re all moving forward together,” Depp says.

“While Johnny Depp is saying ‘advancing’, women’s rights are declining,” Heard said on Tuesday night.

“The message the decision sends to victims of domestic violence is to be afraid to stand up and speak up.”

The jury found that the woman had defamed her, falsely suggesting that she had abused him.

Heard had to pay Depp $8 million after the cuts. He said he can’t pay now.

Heard described the decision as a setback for victims of domestic violence.

She said it proved how powerful and popular Depp was, and molested her during their short marriage.
